
Shakila Sattar
Founder
Shakila Sattar is the Founder of The Earth Society. She has recently finished her M.Sc in Innovation, Strategy and Entrepreneurship from Grenoble Ecole de Management, Berlin campus & worked at The DO School, an organization that support individuals, organization to contribute to the purposeful economy. She is also a social entrepreneur and has hands-on experience in designing and operating sustainable social business models for marginalized communities. She is working with extreme vulnerable communities (for instance honey hunters in Sundarbans) those are living under poverty and climate vulnerable prone areas. She is one of the founding members of Bag Bringers Generation, a movement that eventually accelerated banning the use of plastic bags in Kathmandu, Nepal in 2011. She also has worked at The Do School in Berlin, an international organization based in Germany who engage individuals and organizations into the purposeful economy.
