Asif Iqbal from Bandarban Hill District Town. He is pursuing his master’s degree at International Islamic University, Chittagong. He works as a Co-ordinator at YouthNet Bandarban Team for YouthNet for Climate Justice, Bangladesh, and he is also involved with a variety of volunteer groups as a young climate activist.
He is working to address a variety of issues in his community in Bandarban, and as a Climate Camp, Season-2 Host on World Environment Day, 2022, he hopes to raise awareness about deforestation and plastic pollution.
