Md. Mahmud Hasan, from Rajshahi. He is currently in his third year at Varendra University, majoring in Computer Science. He is the founding president of Varendra University’s International Affairs Council and a youth activist. He also worked as a Peace Ambassador for The Earth Society.

He wants to conduct Climate Camp Season 2 at his campus to educate people about the effects of climate change. He believes that raising awareness is critical in addressing the global emergency of climate change, and that young people who are educated on the subject are better prepared to deal with and adapt to the repercussions of this worldwide emergency. He aims to plant more trees in his district of Rajshahi and he feels that the contribution of Bangladesh’s youth are critical to the country’s progress.
