Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Program Manager. The Program Manager will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all aspects of the projects, ensure successful execution and timely completion. The role will involve collaborating with various stakeholders, managing project schedules, tracking deliverables, and facilitating communication among team members. The ideal candidate should possess strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proven track record of successfully managing complex projects.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify community needs and develop program goals and objectives.
  2. Design and develop detailed program plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource requirements.
  3. Stay informed about relevant trends, best practices, and innovations in the field.
  4. Lead the implementation of programs and projects, ensuring adherence to established timelines and budgets.
  5. Monitor and evaluate project progress, making adjustments as necessary to achieve goals.
  6. Coordinate with internal and external partners to ensure seamless execution.
  7. Recruit, train, and manage a diverse team of program staff, ensuring a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
  8. Provide leadership, guidance, and support to team members to achieve program objectives.
  9. Develop and implement robust monitoring and evaluation frameworks to assess the impact and effectiveness of programs.
  10. Analyze data and prepare reports for internal and external stakeholders, highlighting achievements, challenges, and areas for improvement.
  11. Manage program budgets, ensuring responsible allocation of resources and compliance with donor requirements.
  12. Identify potential funding opportunities and collaborate with the fundraising team to secure additional resources.
  13. Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, community leaders, and other NGOs.
  14. Collaborate with partners to leverage resources, share knowledge, and enhance the overall impact of programs.
  15. Represent the NGO at relevant forums and events, advocating for the organization’s mission and goals.
  16. Develop and implement communication strategies to raise awareness about the NGO’s programs and achievements.
  17. Provide strategic direction and support field team, partners, and private sectors in operating project interventions as per plan and adopt relevant changes considering global situations.
  18. Monitor the progress of field teams and provide regular updates to the senior management team and lead partners to deliver high-quality and measurable outcomes.
  19. Manage budgetary control of expenditure, manage donor funds, and prepare financial reports in line with donor requirements and The Earth regulations in collaboration with the finance department.
  20. Closely work with finance, admin, and HR teams to address the organizational and external (Donor, Audit, etc.) compliance issues.
  21. Submit timely donor reports on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis as determined in the contract·
  22. Manage the contracting cycle and the required project documentation.

Prerequisite to apply

  1. Age at most 35 years
  2. Bachelor Degree in Social Science/ Development Studies/ International Relation/ Public Administration/ Environmental Science.
  3. Master’s degree or MBA is preferred.
  4. Minimum 5 years proven experience in similar role for funded projects.
  5. Proven experience in budget management for funded projects
